My Skin name is Bulanydjan, and my name is Julie Yikaki, my clan is Malibirr, and my homeland is in Ngaliyindi.
I learned from my mother, her name is Nirrkuram, when I was a child, weaving pandanas, and I used to watch my mother boiling them in the dyes, purple, black yellow and green. Those were the colours I learned that was used, this is when I was a child.
And what I learned to weave were mats and Bulpu (cone baskets).
